Accessibility Resource Group

The Accessibility Resource Group is specifically charged with the following responsibilities:

  1. Document campus roles and responsibilities related to accessibility and access for students, staff, faculty and visitors.
  2. Identify barriers to campus community members’ success and any gaps in services needed to ensure accessibility.
  3. Coordinate implementation of effective programmatic, technological and physical measures to improve accessibility at UC Merced.
  4. Research innovative and effective ways to address accessibility for all campus community members.
  5. Advise and make recommendations to campus leadership regarding policies, programs, services and procedures that will improve accessibility.
  6. Advocate for and promote accountability systems for UC Merced that include clear goals tied to strategies, metrics and stories of impact to ensure initiatives address the campus community experiences.
