Accessible Parking
UC Merced provides designated disability parking stalls across campus.
To park in ADA spaces on campus, you:
- must display a DMV-issued ADA placard or a similar distinguishing license plate
- are required to purchase some form of paid parking.
Paid parking can be purchased at pay stations provided in parking lots, My UC Merced Parking Portal, or by visiting the Parking Services office. You can park in any ADA parking space or any non-specially marked spaces. Disability placards are not valid in reserved parking spaces.
Locations and availability of ADA parking spots are located under TAPS Parking Access. TAPS also has an interactive Campus Parking Map.
CatCart Program
CatCart is a service provided by UC Merced Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) to assist UC Merced students, faculty and staff with temporary mobility issues in getting around campus. Review the Cart Pickup Map to see all pick-up and drop-off locations.
CatCart services are available during the fall and spring semesters only, between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. To request this service, please contact:
